      So hi there lovely people ! :)

      Let me introduce myself ! My name is Mandy, the creator of Mahoney Hair. I'm 40 years old, mum to Jade, who's 20 and Ryan, who's 18. I'm engaged to Richard, my Hungarian love and mummy bear to his daughter Lily, who's 11 ! I'm from Malta and I've been in the hair scene for 25 years now, and have been running my own salon for the past 13. Three years ago we relocated to a bigger salon in Ta' Paris, Birkirkara, and I love it !

Here at Mahoney Hair, we specialize in balayages, colour transformations, cutting and dressing hair for occassions and weddings. I tend to fall in love best with natural looking, minimalist and boho inspired styles. One can also easily notice this reflection in the interior of the salon, where we have over 50 plants growing! Yep, you read that right ! Over 50 ! I also give tips about plants and give out propagation stems when available ! So don't be shy to ask the next time you visit :)

 I believe in education and I am currently preparing myself to become an educator for one of the brands. But I'll let you know about this once it's official ! I'm so excited !

Though I have absolutely no idea what's the difference between Star trek and Star wars, I do know ALL the wording to 'The Lion King' and 'the Sound of Music' ! They're my go to movies when I need to unwind ! You will catch me listening to Coldplay on most days, who I never get tired of watching live ! Though I love music from the 60's, 70's and 80's, other bands like Muse, Novo Amor, and artists like Ella and Louis. 

Other hobbies of mine include travelling, painting with acrylics and watercolour, interior decorating, cooking, planting, because of course, at home I'm a plant mum to another 100 plus plants, swimming and of course Crossfit !  I just love it !
